At times life can be very rewarding for the people who are now living within Louisiana. Sometimes the older residents residing at Hammond, LA have to face nursing home negligence when they are sent to certain locations. These older people once had very satisfying lives when they were younger and now they have to live like animals at a zoo.
One younger woman was very proud to be a part of this wonderful state and she owed so much to her dear older grandmother. The once loving granddaughter did not want the responsibility of caring for her any longer and she found a great facility to place the senior woman in.
At first the staff at this place seemed to be kind and friendly and this place was very close to Heaven. The food was wonderful and the female workers wanted all of their patients to stay nice and clean. The old woman had a strange twist of fate when she had an accident within her room. This accident left her unable to walk or to totally care for herself.
The staff members at this facility were very young and they really did not have the heart for caring for older people. Many of them were only there to collect a paycheck each week. It was no surprise that the older woman was neglected after her fall. She was hit and abused for many weeks after her accident.
When her granddaughter came to visit her every person working within this place tried to pretend that all was well. They even tried to pretend that the older woman was very happy to be among her new family. Unfortunately this shy old lady could not speak clearly anymore and she was unable to tell her granddaughter about the recent incidents.
After her granddaughter left each staff member would start their wickedness all over again. This was indeed a horrible place to live but no one would ever find out about the terrors within this facility. The senior men at this location would let their beards grow out since they were afraid to visit the barbershop within the facility.
At times the residents who were confined to their beds were not given the proper bed pans at night. They had to urinate or even have a bile movement upon their clean sheets. This made the location smell terrible during the night hours. Some of the residents would beg one particular man for help each night but he often ignored their call. He spent most of his time within the laundry room smoking marijuana.
One day while visiting this location the granddaughter discovered that her dear sweet grandmother had expired over the weekend. This old lady never received any justice but the Louisiana police made sure that every other patient was rescued from this horrible place. In the end all of the abusers and rapists were dismissed and given time in prison.
