Gender is the word that defines the state of being a male of female while discrimination is handling people from the same gender in unusual way. In short gender discrimination means treating people in a way that is not fair due to their gender. In most cases, it means treating a group of people unfairly since it is less superior and to curb this one should hire a Gender Discrimination Lawyer San Bernardino CA.

When we have a wider look at favoritism we find that mostly women are the ones who are discriminated most. Discrimination of female is dated back into the past centuries when they were not recognized as a part of the society. There were things that they were not supposed to do since they were seen as the weaker gender.

It have not been an easy task to bury the hatchet and forget these unjust acts against women since the issues have been here since past. The issues of these unjust acts include sex, pregnancy, and works discrimination without forgetting wages discrimination. Many cases of these acts are popular in the third world countries since they are not well versed with education.

Looking deeply into these types of discrimination we find out that work is divided into different genders depending on how superior or inferior the group is believed to be. This takes us to the past when the role of women in the society was clearly defined as nursing the young ones and taking care of the family at large. Several duties were not allowed to be done to the people from genders that the duties were bound to.

Pregnancy discrimination is also common in the present world whereby we find expectant ladies are not hired. Employees have reasons of not allowing these ladies to their work places. The reasons include; fear of less production due to absent employees, lack of adequate funds to cater for the employees who are hired temporarily to fill the gap left by the expectant ones who go for a leave and so on.

The world has improved at a high rate when it comes to issues of fighting the gender inequality, by educating people from the developing countries. These are the places we find those issues are not that pleasing when heard by people, the act of unfair treatment of the weaker gender. When these citizens are educated the dark past of not been civilized falls apart welcoming the light of civilization hence reduction of the number of these cases.

Where there is a will a way follows suit so goes the adage, education has brought more good than harm to these undeveloped countries since they do away with their unjust acts and give women a chance of education. Educated women are making Africa sour into greater heights, the likes of Joyce Banda the first African President in Malawi and Wangari Maathai the Kenyan Nobel Prize winner who had a love for her environment.

Every government should make sure women are not treated unfairly. Educating them will bring light that was not there before. With these there will be less cases of favoritism.
