All laws in the British Virgin Islands are part and parcel of the constitution. This constitution borrows heavily from the mother country that is the United Kingdom. The constitution is a supreme document. Thus, it deserves to be respected by all and sundry. No one in any country should disrespect the constitution. That is illegal.

In the BVI as well as in many other parts around the world such as the United Kingdom and the United States of America, laws exist for one reason; to facilitate justice. As a matter of fact, justice needs to be served to all and sundry without fear or discrimination. Actually, justice is a very good thing in the world.

Injustice has no place in society. Thus, it should not prevail at any moment in time. Injustice is one of the worst things that can happen in society. That is because it involves the violation of the rights of another person. Injustice should be frowned upon by all members of society. Injustice will end up running a particular society.

According to the laws of most countries around the world, justice needs to be served in a timely fashion. If that is not the case, it will be very clear that there has been a serious failure in the process of dispensing justice. There is nothing as bad as delayed justice. Actually, injustice and delayed justice have little difference.

The law is not simplistic in nature. Instead, it is complex and difficult to understand. That is the reason why a person has to be very learned before he can call himself a legal practitioner. Becoming a lawyer in the BVI or any other part of planet earth for the matter is a lifetime achievement. Lawyers are the legal experts.

A competent and highly experienced lawyer is in a position to interpret complex legal stipulations so that to be able to deliver justice. He will carry out his work with diligence and a high level of attention to detail. Diligence is required every step of the way. In the course of facilitating justice, a court of law can be involved.

One needs to find an attorney who will be able to deliver success. Such a lawyer will not be a disappointment. Instead, he will offer value for every cent that will be paid by a client. To know the reputation of a particular lawyer, a person will need to contact the local board of lawyers in his jurisdiction.
